A mask or face covering is required for ALL interactions at Acton Medical and Urgent Care.
A VALID Health Card is required for all visits.

The following hours are a general listing ONLY!  
Each physician's hours vary. 
Please call or email the office to BOOK a telemedicine assessment with YOUR family physician. 
In office assessments will be arranged if the findings of the telemedicine appointment deem it necessary. 
 
Medical needs such as childhood immunizations, pregnancy exams, newborn assessments, repeat abnormal papsmears etc. have been deemed essential services that require an in office assessment; and these will be booked accordingly.

COVID-19 Information 

Acton Medical and Urgent Care is NOT a testing site for COVID-19. 

 

Residents who have at least one COVID-19 symptom or are concerned that they have been exposed are encouraged to get assessed and tested at an Assessment Centre.

Residents of Oakville, Milton or Halton Hills: Call 905-203-7963 to book an appointment at a Halton Healthcare Assessment Centre.

Residents of Burlington: Call 905-632-3737, ext. 6550 to book an appointment at Joseph Brant Hospital COVID-19 Assessment Clinic.

Residents with severe symptoms are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.

 

Symptoms range from mild (like the flu and other common respiratory infections) to severe. Common symptoms of COVID-19 include:

 

fever

new or worsening cough

shortness of breath

sore throat

difficulty swallowing

loss of sense of smell or taste

nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain

nasal congestion or runny nose (without other known cause, such as seasonal allergies)

fatigue

headache

chills

red eyes


If you have been tested for COVID-19, you can now check the Provincial online portal for your lab results, both positive and negative.  Check the below link to the online portal before calling Halton Region Public Health.
